¿Como nació Tesoros?
Tesoros was born from a mother's quest for a nurturing and playful space where her sons could thrive in their native Spanish. After relocating from New York to her hometown of Los Angeles, Esmeralda searched for Spanish immersion classes for her boys. Disappointed by the limited options, she decided to create Tesoros herself. Recognizing that a supportive environment extended beyond the classroom, Esmeralda also initiated Spanish playdates to build a community of bilingual familias!
Ms. Esmeralda
Maestra Esmeralda is a passionate mother of two energetic boys with a deep love for culture, language, and community. Born to Mexican and Argentinian parents, Spanish was her first language. Esmeralda feels privileged to pass on the gift of bilingualism with her sons.
Citlali
Citlali, a vibrant 5-year-old, loves singing and dancing with her friends. As Ms. Esmeralda’s cheerful helper, she brings sunshine to our classroom. ¡Citlali can’t wait to meet you and your little one, and warmly welcomes you to the Tesoros familia!
